Nutrition is a key element for our organism.

It keeps us healthy, active and fit. Therefore, it is important to have a healthy eating routine and keep our immune system strong. How? Here you can read some useful tips:

  • Hydration is essential to avoid undesirable consequences such as headache, dizziness or tiredness. Beyond naturally to drink a lot of water, it is important to increase the consumption of fruit, which has antioxidant and compound about 80% – 90% water. The specialists recommend eating at least three portions of fruit per day.
  • Don’t forget to eat pulses and cereals, they are fundamental for our health. It is advisable to have them around twice a week, preferably whole grains. If with the arrival of good weather, you do not feel like enjoying them in hot dishes, they are also excellent in fresher ones, such as quinoa salads.
  • Try to eat season’s vegetables. These foods are essential for maintaining our immune system healthy. It is recommendable to vary their colour often (white, green, red, yellow/orange, violet/blue…) to take a greater quantity and variety of vitamins and minerals. They also contain many antioxidants, which protect the body’s cells and reduce the risk of disease.
  • Fish is another key element to improve our health. It is rich in protein, phosphorus and iodine. It is recommended to eat it about three times a week, preferably choosing the blue one, which is rich in Omega 3, and the white fish, which has minerals and B vitamins.
  • Finally, it is essential to preserve the cold chain. Try to reduce as much as possible the time between the supermarket and your home. Each food has its properties and has different ideal freezing temperatures, check which one is the correct for your meal. Besides, try to optimise the space in the refrigerator and freezer so that the heat does not damage your food.
