Job Description

• Be part of the development teams of air to water heat pumps;

• Derive reliability requirements from load profiles;

• Drive and moderate quality prevention and product improvement sessions (eg: FMEAs, focus matrix, DRBFMs, risk assessments) according to Bosch Engineering System and product engineering processes;

• Perform technical and safety reviews in product development projects;

• Assembly of test setups, create test plans, execute and document reliability and validation

• Active participation in the creation and review of reliability test procedures and safety directives;

• Field monitoring and support in the problem solving of quality problems (8Ds);

• Present and communicate test results and findings to development teams

 

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies

• Bachelor, Master or PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering or similar;

• Knowledge in mechanical construction, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and refrigeration;

• Knowledge in statistical methods, design of components, reliability tests and in material science and testing;

• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

• Experience with IT tools used in lab environment (Matlab, LabView) is valued;

• Project experience in product technical development is valued;

• Refrigeration application background is a benefit;

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English;

• Results oriented, pro-active attitude, critical thinking and problem solving mindset;

• Ability to work in a team environment.
