Financial Controller

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (Master’s degree preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Monthly and annual consolidation of the Group companies’ financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
- Preparation of schedules and supporting reports for monthly and annual closing processes, including explanatory notes and reconciliations;
- Verification of the consistency and integrity of data submitted by subsidiaries, ensuring the correct application of accounting policies;
- Support to subsidiaries on matters related to the consolidation process, accounting adjustments, and corrections;
- Execution of intercompany reconciliations and validation of reciprocal balances;
- Preparation of consolidated information for audit and internal reporting purposes;
- Support in the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts, in coordination with the Accounting, Tax, and Planning departments;
- Participation in the continuous improvement of consolidation processes and tools (e.g., integration of new companies, layout reviews, automations);
- Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines defined by Management and Semapa;
- Support ongoing financial transformation projects, namely the implementation of the new ERP and/or consolidation tools.

Requirements:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in auditing, financial consolidation, or financial reporting, ideally within a Big 4 environment or multinational companies;
- Strong knowledge of IFRS principles and standards;
- Solid understanding of financial closing and reporting processes;
- Familiarity with consolidation tools (SAP BFC, Tagetik, HFM, or similar);
- Knowledge of intercompany reconciliation procedures;
- Ability to analyze financial result variances and validate accounting information;
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (Master’s degree preferred).
