Early this month, ALTEN attended to the Software Engineering Week in Braga. These days took place at Universidade do Minho, Portugal. The purpose of this event, the largest of its kind in this institution, was to connect students with companies and to discuss trending topics from the technological panorama.

What this week consisted of 

During one week, students were able to take part in any kind of workshops at the event. One of the good things is that these pupils were from all around the country and abroad. This situation, let ALTEN know how young people, from different places, see their situation. Students also attended lectures led by national and international speakers, with all free access. The Software Engineering Week make it possible to participate in contests, from programming to cybersecurity, so the academics could learn in a practical way.

At this event, students can get in touch with several companies in the Software Engineering business like ALTEN. This week helps to allow them to have initial contact with the companies that will make a place for them in their staff in the future. In this way, the students also get to know who the talent recruiters are so that they can learn the best advice
